Jed:
Poor Jethro. He found out it's hard to attract city girls when all
you learned in school is how to spell your name; how to add 2 and 2.
Jethro: Why one of those girls asked me what my sign was. Jed: Your sign? What did you tell her? Jethro: I told her I was kind of fond of Possum Crossing. But I guess she didn't like that sign. |
| Jed felt so sorry for the boy, being so far away from home and all. So he told him he ought to go to wherever those city folk go to whoop and holler. | ![]() |

That's how Jethro ended up at something called the "Retro-Techno-a-Go-Go," where pretty women dance to strange music, and magic is in the air. |

Do you mind if I sit down, can I buy you a round? Haven't seen your face before, are you new in town? |
